Another Face Craft is a company that creates unique looks and accessories for film shoots, photo projects, and shows.
Client’s Problem
To work with new materials and temperature conditions, the client needed to print a test set of a mask sized 165×155×120 mm. The product had to maintain dimensional accuracy and withstand exposure to hot steam and sunlight. Previously, the client had tried using SLA printing, but such models could not withstand high temperatures and deformed when heated.
Solution
The client turned to Makerly and ordered the mask to be printed using HP Jet Fusion technology. The product was made from polyamide PA 12, which provides high heat resistance, strength, and dimensional stability. This technology made it possible to achieve a surface perfectly suited for further post-processing and painting.
Result
The client received the finished mask set within 6 working days. Thanks to Makerly, the client obtained a product of the required quality and precision, which helped speed up preparation for filming and improved the reliability of the items during use.
