Dotyk Fingers is a company that provides affordable and functional solutions for people affected by war, disease, or accidents.
Client’s Challenge
To quickly and efficiently produce finger prostheses, the client required a set of parts. Since each prosthesis is unique, a manufacturing solution tailored to personalized needs was essential. Traditional casting was too costly, while household 3D printers couldn’t deliver the necessary quality.
Solution
The client turned to Makerly 3D Printing and provided 3D models of the parts. The production utilized the HP Jet Fusion 5210 industrial 3D printing system and two materials: HP PA 12 polyamide and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU). Polyamide is used to create solid and durable products, while TPU’s properties allow for the production of flexible and elastic components. Both materials are resistant to mechanical stress, moisture, UV radiation, and chemical exposure.
Result

The complete set of parts was printed within 7 working days. All components fully met technical and anatomical requirements. Thanks to Makerly 3D Printing, the client successfully addressed the challenge of rapid customized prosthesis production while maintaining the flexibility to adjust parts for different rehabilitation stages.
