Client’s Problem
The client needed a limited batch of components — a set of five instrument stands — for equipment manufacturing. The final products had to support the weight of the device (around 2 kg) and have an aesthetically pleasing appearance. The customer tried various 3D printing methods, but none met the desired quality.
Solution
The company’s team reached out to Makerly to print the set of parts using the MJF (Multi Jet Fusion) method. The industrial-grade HP Jet Fusion 5210 3D printing line was used for production, with HP PA 12 polyamide selected as the printing material. This technology and material make it possible to produce strong and durable parts that can withstand both mechanical and chemical stress.
Result
The set of stands was printed and painted black within 10 business days. All parts fully met the client’s technical requirements. Thanks to Makerly, the company received reliable components in a short timeframe while saving on the production of a limited series of parts.
