Client’s problem
The client needed a fuel tank cap. The item had to be well-made, highly detailed, and resistant to chemical substances, moisture, and UV radiation. The item also needed to be printed quickly.
Solution
The client turned to Makerly 3D Printing for help and sent us a 3D model of its device.
We printed the item on the Hewlett Packard Jet Fusion 5210 industrial printing line using the HP PA 12 polyamide. In terms of its features, the printing material surpasses photopolymers and ABS plastic.
It also keeps its properties even after prolonged contact with water, gasoline, solvents, and lubricants.
Result
